Aaron Phillips, 64, of Sweet Home died Sept. 16, 2007 at his home with family. He was born Oct. 28, 1942 to Aaron C. and Lillie (Weatherford) Phillips in Corsicana, Texas. He married Linda Dlouhy in Lichdale, Pa. on Aug. 27, 1961.
Mr. Phillips worked in construction during his life. He loved being outdoors and with horses. He was a cowboy.
Mr. Phillips is survived by his wife of 45 years, Linda Dlouhy Phillips; son, Lester Phillips and daughter-in-law Rachel; sisters Jaunita Kelly of Foster, JayDean Shaw of Uma, Ariz., and Josephine Hartwell of Bonham, Texas; three grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Andy; a sister, Dorothy Henthorne Phillips; and parents, Aaron C. and Lillie Phillips Sr.
Viewing was held Sept. 18 at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
