L.J. “Jack” Dedman, 88, of Sweet Home died Oct. 28, 2006.
He was born to LeRoy and Frances (Hopkin) Dedman in Whatcom County, Wash.
Mr. Dedman was a Merchant Marine during WWII. He then returned to the Bay City area and started work in a shingle mill. He worked in sawmills and made his way through Oregon with different mills, eventually winding up in Sweet Home, where he…
