Candace Lynne Johnson, 49, of Sweet Home died July 7, 2015.
She was born Nov. 17, 1965 in Key West, Fla. to Robert and Christine (Phillips) Judy.
She moved to Oregon in 1985. Mrs. Johnson lived in Sweet Home until 2013 when she moved into the Lebanon Avamere nursing home, where she spent her final days.
She was a certified nursing assistant at various nursing homes. She was raised Catholic and gave her life to Jesus Christ in 2014.
She loved to craft with anything she could get her hands on – jewelry, beadwork, figurines etc.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband Robert “Kris” Johnson; son Michael Johnson; daughter Brenda Lynn Kershaw; three grandchildren; and mother-in-law Brenda K. Johnson, all of Sweet Home; mother Christine Garner; sisters Mickey and Beth; brothers Kevin and Timmy; and many nieces and nephews, all of Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her son Robert “Bobby” Johnson in 2013.
A Celebration of Life potluck picnic was held July 12 at Northside Park.
