Lyle R. Birky, 78, of Sweet Home passed away Sunday April 19th.
He was born Dec. 30, 1936 in Creston, Mont. to Elmer and Anna (Lapp) Birky.
He lived in both Montana and Oregon. He was a logger and member of the Mennonite Church.
Mr. Birky enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, woodworking and riding ATVs.
He is survived by his wife Simone, sons Bill and Rich; daughter Theresa; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Sharon in 2013.
Memorial services are planned at 11 a.m. Friday, May 15, at the Sweet Home Mennonite Church, 1266 44th Ave.
