Charlotte Merle Huber, 95, of Sweet Home passed away Oct. 17, 2012.
She was born July 4, 1917 in Ardmore, Okla. to James Samuel and Addie May (McCluney) Cole.
She lived in Duncan, Okla. from the late 1930s until she moved to Apple Valley, Calif. in 1941. She moved to Sweet Home in 2007.
Mrs. Huber was a homemaker. She attended Elm Street Baptist Church and supported many ministries: Jews for Jesus, Samaritan’s Purse, In Touch Ministries, Wycliffe Bible Translators and Bible Tabernacle.
She loved gardening, sewing, bird watching and reading her Bible.
Mrs. Huber is survived by a daughter, Diana Duprau of Corvallis; five grandchildren, Jon Duprau of Santa Barbara, Calif., Robert Duprau of Toledo, Bradley Duprau of Camarillo, Calif., Christopher Johnson of Sweet Home, and Kristen Olsen of Albany; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Foster Huber, in 2007; and daughter Linda Johnson in 1997.
A memorial service is planned at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, at Elm Street Baptist Church in Sweet Home.
Final burial will be at Victor Valley Memorial Park in Victorville, Calif.
