Robert Charles Curtis, 30, of Sweet Home, died Jan. 24, 2012 after a brief illness.
He was born Dec. 27, 1981, the son of Jack and Helen (Lockhart) Trukositz of Sweet Home and the late Jefferson Curtis of Salem.
Mr. Curtis loved animals, especially cats, and helped many strays over the years. He also was an avid video game player and loved to read.
He is survived by his parents; brothers Christopher Wade of Sweet Home, Joshua Marion of Portland, and Joseph Trukositz of Eugene; and two close friends he considered to be brothers, Shawn Lannigan of Salem and Joseph Brewer of Portland.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jefferson Curtis.
