Catherine (Cathy) Green, 73, of Sweet Home died Jan. 16, 2012 at her home.
She was born Dec. 28, 1938 in Santa Cruz, Calif. to Devota and Frank Helms. She spent her younger years in California, surrounded by numerous family and friends.
In 1966 she married William (Bill) Green. The Greens raised four children and traveled many places, making many friends along the way. Their favorite spots were Sierra Vista, Ariz., Yerington, Nev. and Sweet Home.
Mrs. Green loved her pets, flowers and was a talented painter who always understated her abilities.
She is survived by her husband, Bill; children Terri Ogden of Yerington, William Green of Brentwood, Calif., Robert Green of Tucson, Ariz., and Daniel Green of Willits, Calif.; and numerous and beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Jan. 21 at DeMoss-Durdan Funeral Home in Corvallis.
