Glenn Paul Roberts, 47, of Sweet Home, died Sept. 25, 2008 at his home.
He was born Dec. 7, 1960 in Sweet Home, the son of Verlin Clare and Mary Josephine (Pugh) Roberts. He attended Sweet Home schools as a youth. He lived in the Alpha House for the last 20 years, where he was loved and cherished.
Mr. Roberts was a life-long member of the United Methodist Church in Sweet Home.
He is survived by his sisters, Leta Winston of Lake Oswego and Lynn Kemp of Arlington, Wash.; brothers Kenneth Roberts and Wayne Roberts, both of West Linn, David Roberts of Oregon City, and Stanley Roberts of Mercer Island, Wash.; his church family and those who loved him at Alpha House.
He was preceded in death by both his parents.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, at the United Methodist Church in Sweet Home. Private burial took place at Gilliland Cemetery.
