‘Unplanned’ movie needs local eyes

Editor:

The movie “Unplanned” starts this Friday, April 12, at the Rio and runs through April 24.

Theater owner Thomas Baham said that the movie was not expected to do well here, but those who value human life at every stage have an opportunity to show differently by showing up. I believe there is a message that needs to be heard. Many people are getting rich from infanticide and the unthinkable trafficking of body parts. We cannot be OK with this, as I am sure God is not.

This is why I, as a pastor, would recommend everyone see this R-rated movie (some disturbing/bloody images). Please be careful about allowing kids to see this movie. It may be best if parents carefully inform their children of what is happening in our world in this area, rather than exposing them directly to the stark reality.  Visit sweethomerio.com for details.

I pray that Jesus will be revealed personally to many in East Linn County!
