Twenty-four years ago this month we cut the ribbon to open our unique newly restored Box Howe truss bridge.
Some get monuments. You built one. Without your energy and drive, our three-year community battle would have ended before it began. You got the funding through Congressman Peter DeFazio and the rest is history.
We have a bridge that exemplifies the character and drive you brought to your constituents, who will never forget you.
