Left can’t accept

ideas not theirs

Editor:

If nothing else, this election process clearly shows what the Left is all about.

For some reason, they just can’t fathom that someone wouldn’t endorse and accept liberalism. They do not accept diversity, compassion, equality, acceptance or tolerance.

The truth is the American people have just had it with the status quo in Washington.

The politically correct assault on our freedom of speech and Hillary’s deplorable speech did not endear any of us to her or the Democratic party.

They are a bunch sore losers and they are the reason Trump got elected.

Yes, I am proud to say I voted for Trump.

Give Supt. Yahraes

time, support

Editor:

I’ve had the opportunity to read new schools Supt. Tom Yahraes’ resume and met him personally, and have read the newspaper articles about his goals and ideas. He has said what he will try to do to better our educational system here because it has really fallen off the charts.

The way that the problems will ever be solved is by everyone offering their expertise, which is available at the administration level as well as from us parents.

Having said all this, I recommend we get behind the new superintendent and give him time. Take time to think about this.

What do we have to lose?

Why publish

‘horrid’ letter?

Editor:

I was disappointed that you would print a letter such as the one from Diane Daiute, local Democrat Jihadi who disrespected the new first lady. I guess she’s too ill-bred to have ever heard the phrase about comments we make about others: First, ask yourself, “Is it true, is it kind, is it necessary?”

The missive certainly failed all three.

Diane, you are angry at people who called Michelle Obama an “ape in heels.” You’re the only person I know who called her that, in your letter. Thanks.

Melania Trump has done nothing to you, and the horrid things you said should never be said. She is elegant, gentle, and quiet, and not the person she was in the past, as is the case for most people.

It’s not your business what a woman has chosen to do with her body; this is a holy Democrat tenet as noted in their desire for term babies to be able to be aborted because it’s the woman’s body, because it’s necessary (NOT).

Jealous that you can barely speak English, and Melania can speak that and other languages? Don’t be so petty.

Editor’s note: When contents of a letter raise questions – or eyebrows, The New Era staff will often check their validity. We did so in this case. The main reason we require that writers provide their phone number when submitting letters is so we can contact them if there are questions.
