Writer welcome to move elsewhere

Editor:

In answer to Diane Daiute’s letter to the editor: I think Diane should move back to New York, Chicago, or Washington. They have the strictest gun laws on the books. Chicago and Washington also have the highest rate of crime in our nation. I’m certain that New York will be joining them. I will be happy to donate some money for that very cause of moving her to one of the above states or to a country that does not allow their citizens to own guns.

I totally support Sheriff Muller. I want someone who will stand up for my rights and the constitution from people who would love to see those rights and the constitution destroyed, people like Diane, for instance.

Yes, Diane, the constitution was written 200 years ago and I’m sure when it was written the founding fathers had more than pornography in mind when they wrote the First Amendment granting us the freedom to speak and the freedom of the press. Thanks to that 200-year-old constitution you have so much disdain for, you are able to write your mindless ranting and raving in a letter to the editor and get it published.

I’m sure the founding fathers did not have abortion or same-sex marriage in mind when they guaranteed us the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

May I suggest if you ever have a home invasion or need to call a law officer, then you better call on some one other than our local police department because, Diane, they have guns for killing and maiming others. I am so glad that they do.

I’m not for making a law that tells you that you have to go out and buy a gun to defend yourself or the ones you love, nor should any one make a law forbidding me to do that if I choose.

All the laws that are on the books now and the new ones Obama is pushing through executive orders will not stop one killing. It only punishes the lawful gun owners.

I do think that William C. Curtis has made a very good point about the need and the way to secure our schools.
