The White’s Park next to Pleasant Valley Bridge is in jeopardy of closing.
The park came from an idea of the city’s Committee for Traffic Safety. Fishermen were parking on the bridge and causing unsafe traffic problems. White’s Electronics graciously gave this piece of land for the White’s Memorial Park in honor of Ken and Olive White.
The park did solve the parking problem and was a welcome spot for the fishermen to park…
