The more Kim Lawrence bashes the Police Department, the more I respect them. I am very impressed with the people who work for me. I think we have a wonderful group of young men and women working law enforcement. I find them very easy to talk with and very accommodating. I also love the “Ask a Cop” response in the paper.
The sad thing is Kim did not even have the courage or the courtesy to contact the Police Department to see what really happened, but as usual she put only her spin on things.
Does she even realize that police don’t do medical emergencies – only law enforcement?
I am very surprised Kim only had one complaint. Usually she can come up with several. I am also very happy to think that she will no longer have to bother the Police Department if she has a problem. Although the Police Department won’t say so, I am sure that they are very happy Kim won’t be calling on them any time in the near future either.
Little does she know that if she has a law enforcement problem, the county sheriff will just turn her over to the Sweet Home Police Department. Our wonderful fire department (I do have to agree with her about the fire department; they are wonderful) only takes care of medical problems, so if she has a law enforcement problem, they would have to turn her over to the Sweet Home Police Department too.
Kim seems to have it all together, so the next time I am concerned with one of my friends, I’ll just call Kim and have her run out and check on them. I’m sure she won’t mind getting out of bed at 4 a.m. to check things out for me. Too bad her phone number isn’t listed. I’d be very happy if she would publish it so I could have it on speed dial.
