I would like to voice my opinion about the marina project. I for one and many others are not for a marina at the proposed location. If it is truly to benefit the public, then put it up the river near existing public camping and such.
The proposed location would be devastating to the usage of Foster Lake. To all that support this project need to look out over this area on a nice summer day. Look at the enjoyment that people are having swimming, skiing, lounging, barbecues etc. The unrestricted flow of boats and other watercraft.
I see no benefits except to the investors in the project. Please do not let this project proceed. To all of the users of Foster Lake, please beware of this and all of the fanfare of how it is “Great for the public”.
