When I first moved to the town of Sweet Home I was so proud to see a manger scene standing by the Chamber of Commerce.
Then last year I heard there were some broken parts and they must still be broken. Surely there is some retired man in town with the skills of repairing this scene and will call to offer to repair these so next year we can see the real reason for Christmas again standing in our town.
Also we are very fortunate to have businessmen putting on the Singing Christmas Tree and I want to thank those who practice from September until December. Not every town has this thrilling Christmas present to begin the season with.
I especially enjoyed the song, “Mary Did You Know.” And I always am thrilled to stand for the Hallelujah Chorus which they always end with. Blessings on the leaders and singers!
