Liberals would have you believe that by voting no on Measure 43, you will be protecting your teenage girls from further rape and incest.
Nothing could be further from the truth. If we bury our heads in the sand and continue to put our teenagers at risk by putting them back into the home and surrounding circumstances that caused the rape or incest, then the problem never gets dealt with. We end up teaching our teenage daughters that their protection from these types of sexual predators is secondary to abortion.
If my daughter is being sexually abused in the home, I have a right to know and take whatever measures necessary to protect her from further abuse. If my daughter has been raped, then I need to make sure the rapist never has an opportunity to do this again to my daughter or someone else’s daughter.
If my daughter is afraid to tell anyone then how does that protect her? The truth is it doesn’t. It only protects the perpetrators. I see no reason why we should protect a sexually abusive father, son or relative, much less a rapist. It’s no wonder we have so many sexual predators in today’s society.
Vote yes on Measure 43 to protect your teenage daughters from rape and incest.
