The Sweet Home Police Department deserves our continuing support.
Despite all the misinformation out there, the police must renew their operating levy every four years and now is the time. If you look closely, they are asking for the same cost per thousand rates as we approved for them in 2002. Also, this is not an addition to what property owners are paying now, but will merely continue funding past June 2007.
