Hillsboro had a field day against the Sweet Home Husky wrestling team here last Tuesday, Dec. 20, with the varsity defeating the Huskies 37-22 and the second varsity losing only one actual match to win 37-17.

Mr. and Mrs. Dwaine Galloway and two children, of Bend, spent Christmas with Mr. and Mrs. Jack Galloway. Mr. and Mrs. John Galloway, of Portland, came down the latter part of the week. Mrs. Frank O’Brien, of Oregon City, came Sunday. They all returned home Sunday afternoon.

A 17-year-old Tillamook county boy who spent the summer as a fire watchman keeping Oregon’s Douglas Fir country green has been named runner-up in the American Forest Products Industries’ national 4-H scholarship competition.
