After reading in The New Era paper March 19, 2014, “City Facing 1 Million Dollars Shortage” article and the “sky-is-falling-again” comments by our Sweet Home city leaders, finance, council, it is time for these Sweet Home tax-and-spend experts to take a lesson or two from Lebanon’s tax experts.
When Lebanon doesn’t have enough tax money, those leaders laid off nine (9) city paid employees this year. These true leaders didn’t ask for levy after levy to pass like Sweet Home tax experts do.
I, as a tax payer for Sweet Home, think that Lebanon could find out what happens to our Sweet Home tax money that disappears, spent on stuff or simply our Sweet Home leaders hire too many tax paid employees.
I’m not sure though these Sweet Home tax and spend leaders would not want Sweet Home tax payers to know where our tax money goes. It’s kind of like where is the Jamboree money and that bazillion- dollar sewer-and-water money pit.
Vote NO to any and all tax increases. No matter how many times these tax-and-spend liberals put them on the ballot. Stop their crazy spending.
