We hope we can use your paper to thank some wonderful individuals who provided the “spirit of Christmas” to our family the seven days before the holiday.
They wanted to remain anonymous and asked us not to try and discover their identity, so we can only hope our sincere gratitude for their kindness will reach them through your paper. Each night a knock would be heard and on our doorstep would be cookies, candy, gifts, and a card wishing us Merry Christmas. The idea that individuals during the busiest time of the year would take time to do this for our family is most humbling.
We want them to know it really did provide the “spirit of Christmas” they were hoping to achieve. We promise to find ways in the years to come to do the same for someone else. May God bless you in the New Year!
