Recently, I had the pleasure of attending Sweet Home’s Singing Christmas Tree. It was wonderful. From the time I entered the auditorium, I felt so good. The music playing, the fragrance of the Christmas tree and the beautiful lighting – What a treat.
First Assembly of God Church in Albany provided bus transportation for 55 seniors to attend. We had a very enjoyable evening.
The Sweet Home community can be very proud of its accomplishments, providing this wonderful gift to the community. All participants are to be commended for their efforts, especially the director, David Dominy. He is so committed to the Singing Christmas Tree.
I have a special place in my heart for Sweet Home. I had my first teaching position at Oak Heights back in 1965. I wish I lived closer. I would love to be part of this great event.
I know they are looking for more participants. I hope you will consider being part of this community effort.
