I have been gathering information on past sheriffs. I went back from 1953 to 2005. It is my understanding that George Miller was sheriff from 1953 to 1973, Ken Goin from 1973 to 1987, Martinak from 1987 to 1995, Burright from 1995 to 2005, and Mueller acting sheriff from 2005 to present.
I find it interesting that each sheriff has resigned short of completing his last term. They have appointed the undersheriff so that…
