As we prepare to celebrate National Hospital Week May 7-13, I wanted to acknowledge and thank the more than 4,400 health professionals who work in Samaritan Health Services’ hospitals, physician clinics and senior care facilities in Linn, Benton and Lincoln counties.
The pride these professionals take in their work is evidenced each day and has been recognized by state and national organizations with awards for quality and for being an excellent place to work.
As our health care system continues to maneuver through important and necessary reform, I am particularly impressed with how our employees maintain their focus on our patients and on delivering exceptional and compassionate care. They exemplify our health care mission, and I am proud and privileged to work with them.
