Four Sweet Home High School girls basketball players were honored during a July 6 awards dinner at The Point restaurant.
Rising junior Brooke Burke was named the Huskies’ Most Valuable Player. She also made the 4A-3 Oregon West Conference All-league first team.
Recent graduate Natalie Rodgers was presented the Coaches Award for exemplifying the ideals of hard work, determination, commitment, team spirit and leadership. She was also an Oregon West Conference honorable mention.
