Sweet Home split a four-game softball tournament in Redmond last week, beating Redmond 20-10, losing to Ridgeview 6-3, losing to Marist 6-1 and beating Crook County 13-7.
The team played the first two games on March 25 and the last two on March 26.
Emily Brown and Marissa Kurtz led the way at bat against Redmond, going 3-4, each with two RBIs. Brown had three runs, and Kurtz had two runs.
Hitting twice were Savannah Hutchins, Sunhee Bitter and Graci Zanona. Ashtyn Walker and Bailee Hartsook each had one hit.
Zanona and Brown each had a double, and Kurtz hit a double and a triple.
Against Ridgeview, Allison Miner went 2-3, with additional hits from Walker, Hartsoook, Zanona, Kurtz and Samantha Virtue.
Walker and Hartsook each had an RBI; and Zanona, Brown and Kurtz scored runs. Kurts hit a double.
Statistics were not available at press time for the Crook County and Marist games.
The Huskies were scheduled to face Junction City Monday night. They’ll host Cascade at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, travel to Sisters at 4:30 p.m. Thursday and travel to Newport at 4 p.m. Monday.
