The girls varsity basketball team lost at home 85-30 to Madras Thursday evening.
The Huskies led early on, quickly hitting a pair of buckets out of the gate and taking a 4-0 lead. The Huskies fell behind 13-10 by the end of the first quarter as Madras forced several turnovers with its press. The Huskies trailed 37-15 at halftime and 68-24 after three quarters.
Kayla Miller led scoring with 10 points.
The team will play in a tournament Wednesday through Friday in Stayton.
