Josie Hewitt, Chloe Tyler and Brock Nelson competed in the U.S. Swimming Oregon State 10-and- Under Championships Feb. 21-22 in Corvallis.
All are 10 years old and swim for the Sweet Home Swim Club.
Hewitt was second in the 200 Freestyle (2:21.27), fifth in the 100 Butterfly (1:19.74), third in the 100 Individual Medley (1:15.26), third in the 200 IM (2:40.38), fourth in the 100 Breaststroke (1:24.62), and fourth in the 100 Freestyle (1:06.24).
Tyler was seventh in the 100 Butterfly (1:22.50), 24th in the 50 Backstroke (38.42), 13th in the 100 IM ((1:22.03), 16th in the 100 Backstroke (1:21.44), 16th in the 50 Butterfly (37.12), and 13th in the 100 Freestyle (1:11.26).
Nelson was fifth in the 50 Breaststroke (40.55), sixth in the 100 IM (1:16.43), seventh in the 200 IM (2:49.82), eighth in the 100 Backstroke (1:16.59), sixth in the 100 Breaststroke (1:27.76), and 10th in the 100 Freestyle (1:06.64).
