With beautiful weather and a “good” turnout of 150 runners for the 5K (3.1 mile) and 10K (6.2 mile) races Saturday morning, Feb. 14, organizers of the inauguaral Sweetheart Run in Sweet Home said the event was a success.
In addition to the longer races, about 40 children 9 and under participated in a mile run before the adults got going. No results were recorded for that race.
