Kobe Olson and Anthony Hardee qualified on Saturday for the Oregon Wrestling Association’s Cultural Exchange division to New Zealand this July and August.
Olson was not challenged at 106 pounds, as there were no other wrestlers at that weight.
Hardee finished second at 121 pounds, but the wrestler who beat him decided to forgo the trip, so Hardee will be Oregon’s representative.
Other Huskies wrestling in the tournament were Aaron Blanchard, fourth at 115 pounds, Tyler Fincher, fourth at 121 pounds, Tyrel Miller, third at 134 pounds, Joe Rasmussen and Jake Porter, who did
not place at 146 pounds, and Jason Miller, fourth at 165 pounds.
