The Huskies defeated La Pine 4-2 in boys varsity soccer on the road on Oct. 8.
Nick Rodgers scored the first goal of the game about 20 minutes in, said Assistant Coach Michael Rolph. The Falcons answered the goal, and the teams tied 1-1 at halftime.
Rodgers put another one away on a penalty kick to get things going and then followed up with a third goal.
La Pine scored its second goal, and Kyle Rose answered for a 4-2 lead.
“It was great,” Rolph said. “They were all smiles. They definitely dominated and seemed like we were really confident in the second half.”
The Huskies were scheduled to host Cottage Grove on Tuesday, travel to Elmira on Thursday and host Junction City on Monday.
The Huskies are 2-8 overall and 2-4 in league.
