Sweet Home’s boys golf team opened its season at Tokatee, shooting 426 to tie for fourth with Cottage Grove. Host Stayton won the match but the Eagles’ score was not available.
Sten Weld was low scorer for the Huskies, shooting 102. Casey Horner finished with 103, Michael Tolle 110, Austin Yoder 111 and Christian Porter 121.
Sweet Home hosted a girls match at Mallard Creek Tuesday, March 20, and the boys varsity and JV teams will play at home at Mallard Creek beginning at noon Wedneday, March 21.
