Girls fall to Sisters on road

The Huskies lost 62-30 at Sisters Friday night in girls basketball.

Sisters built a 15-4 lead in the first quarter. The Huskies trailed 30-16 at halftime and 46-20 after three quarters.

“I thought Megan Graville and Megan Rubidoux did a nice job scoring for us,” said Coach John Barnes.

Annie Whitfield remained out with an injury, he said. She practiced a little Monday night, but he didn’t know whether she would make it back into the action this week.

She has been out for five games, he said. “We’re hoping to get her back, even if it is just for a little bit. We definitely miss her.”
