Keys named soccer MVP

Dakotah Keys was named the most valuable player at the boys soccer awards dessert Thursday night.

Also receiving awards were Johnny Penner, Coach’s Award, and Matthew Grove, Hustle Award.

Keys was named to first team all league. Grove and Chris Ferris received honorable mention.

Casey Keys was named most valuable player on the junior varsity squad. James Meyers received the JV Leadership Award.

First-year letters went to Casey Keys, Eric Munts, Jonny Penner, Blake Roberts, Alex Santana, Jered Severns and John Trahan Jr.

Second-year letters went to Anthony Albright, Brock Crocker, Mitchell Grove, Matthew Grove, Dakotah Keys and Andrew Winslow.

Chris Ferris received his third year letter.

The team placed sixth in the state in the Dairy Farmers of American award for its combined grade-point average.
