Sweet Home lost a no-hitter 3-0 in the first game of a doubleheader at home on Monday to Douglas.
“We simply couldn’t get anything going offensively,” Coach Dan Tow said. “The game was a pitchers’ duel, and they got the better of us.
“There were 23 strikeouts in the game all together, and we hit a few balls hard but couldn’t muster a hit.”
