Sean Martin and Rhys Birky won four events each as the Husky swimmers won both the boys and girls portions of the Sweet Home Invitational Thursday at Husky pool.
Coach Doug Peargin was pleased with his squads, noting that last year, Stayton, Sherwood and LaSalle were in the Top 10 statewide and his girls beat two of the three.
“For the boys, Lasalle and Sherwood were Top 10 teams and we beat both of them,” Coach Peargin said. “I’m very pleased with how the kids performed.”
