Sweet Home Swim Club members took part recently in statewide competitions.
In the first photo, from left, are, left or right: Arman Marble, Ronald (RJ) Abbott, Breeza Rodriguez, Payton Brookfield, Khloe Sautel and Kirsten Sautel, who competed in the 2023 OSI Senior Region XII Arena Short Course championships on March 3-5 in Corvallis.
In the second photo: Kaylee Sevier, Assistant Coach Jessica Coats and Ryke Huenergardt, who competed in the 2023 Arena Short Course 10 and Under Championships Feb. 18-19 in Springfield. Ryke was seventh for Sweet Home in the 200 Individual Medley.
In the third photo, Rodriguez, Grayson Savri and Khloe Sautel, who competed Feb. 24-26 in the 2023 OSI Arena Short Course 11 to 14 Championships in Corvallis. Rodriguez placed sixth in the 200 Backstroke, ninth in the 100 Butterfly, fifth in the 100 Backstroke and 10th in the 100 Freestyle. Sautel was second in the 200 Freestyle, fourth in the 500 Freestyle, sixth in the 100 Freestyle, seventh in the 50 Freestyle and 10th in the 200 Individual Medley.
