SH wrestlers shock No. 1 and 2 seeds to win Oregon Classic

Sweet Home’s wrestlers were seeded third going into last weekend’s Oregon Wrestling Classic tournament, the de facto dual meet state championship for the state.

They won, beating powerhouses Crook County 43-30 and Marshfield 41-30 on Saturday, Jan. 14, the second day of the tournament, which was rendered a bit topsy-turvy because of team no-shows due to weather.
