It wasn’t a regional championship, but Sweet Home came close Saturday, finishing second to Cascade and qualifying nine wrestlers for state at the regional meet in Cottage Grove.
“I think we absolutely did as good as we could have done,” Coach Steve Thorpe said of his Huskies. “Everybody on the team competed and when you have that, you have opportunity.”
