Sweet Home’s swim teams spent the last two weeks cranking out yardage in the pool and it showed Thursday, Dec. 28, when both the boys and the girls came home with championships at the Stayton Invitational.
The meet is held in a metric pool instead of the more typical 25-yard facilities the Huskies usually swim in, which gave them a chance to swim a little further in their races, said Coach Doug Peargin.
