The boys golf team started its 2006 campaign with a third-place finish in the Marist Invitational Best Ball tournament held at Tokatee Golf Course.
Phoenix shot 305 to edge Marist (306) for the tournament title, with Sweet Home coming in at 351, Junction City 358, North Bend 361, Marist #2 379, and South Umpqua 384.
