Richard “Dick” Evans Meyers, 81, of Sweet Home passed away Friday. He was born in Pendleton, to Harvey Richie and Dorothy Wheelock (Evans) Meyers.
Dick enlisted in the United States Naval Reserve in 1959 when he was 17 while he was in high school, doing training every month. In October 1960, he went into active duty. After completing his active duty he continued serving…
