Oregon State Police responded to a single vehicle crash on Highway 20 near milepost 34 on June 21 at about 5:44 p.m. A green Ford Fiesta was eastbound and attempted to negotiate a curve when the operator stated the brakes failed, so she was unable to slow. The vehicle exited the roadway on the outside of the curve and came to a rest in thick vegetation after going through an ODOT sign.
