Linn County Commissioners Roger Nyquist, Sherrie Sprenger and Will Tucker on Tuesday, March 11, approved sending a letter of support to U.S. Forest Service officials for the Linn Wildfire Mitigation Group, a coalition of organizations whose goal is to take proactive measures to reduce wildfires.
The Linn Wildfire Mitigation Group is facing the possibility of losing federal funding.
