Influenza was a factor in the deaths of two elderly Linn County residents in February, County Health Officer Dr. Adam Brady told the Board of Commissioners Tuesday, March 18.
Brady’s report came as the Oregon Health Authority announced last week that the state’s flu season is the worst since it began tracking influenza 15 years ago.
Dr. Brady said the two victims were both more than 90 years old.…
