Sandra Kay Smith, 64, of Sweet Home, passed away on Aug. 14, 2025 in Lebanon. She was born Sept. 30, 1960 to Lonita (Butenschoen) and Leon Weathers in Lebanon.
She lived in Chelan, Washington, Portland, Sweet Home and Lebanon.
She was a non-denominational Seventh-day Adventist. Sandra taught Vacation Bible School and home-schooled her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Sandra enjoyed making cards, reading and most of all loved spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her mother, Lonita Weathers; children Steven Epperson of Scio, Reta Holder of Salem, Jay Epperson of Montana, Kimberly Simmons of Junction City, and Carrie Winder of LaPine; sisters Shirley Manning and Anita Weathers, and brother Steve Weathers all from Lebanon; 18 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Smith (2014); and her dad Leon Weathers (2012).
A viewing will be from 3 to 5 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 21, at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 22, at Gilliland Cemetery.
