2:27 a.m. – Caller reported four people climbing on building at Sweet Home High School, 1641 Long. According to SHPD, officers located three as they jumped from the roof: Skye John Acoya, 24, Stanley Casey Blank, 23, and Daniel Michale Gibbs, 21, who were all arrested for criminal trespass II. According to SHPD, the caller reported seeing the suspects climb onto a shipping container and then to the roof of a building on the east side of the school property, near the woodshop building.
2:57 a.m. – Caller reported his dog stolen from 7-Eleven parking lot, 2405 Main. Officer responded, report taken. The dog was later located and returned to its owner.
3:29 p.m. – Paul Lester Herzberger, 38, arrested on LMC warrant for PV, Benton County Circuit Court warrant for FTA in DWS case, AMC warrant for FTA in DWS case. 18th/railroad tracks. Cited and released.

10:16 a.m. – Deputy responded to report of threats in 34300 block Bond. Caller went to retrieve family heirloom that had been gifted to the ex of a family member. New spouse of ex was “not nice” and told caller to leave property. Civil issue. No crimes.

2:23 a.m. – Caller reported possibly intoxicated driver in vehicle from which passengers were throwing cheese at people, southbound 12th from Long. Officer contacted driver, who was warned for speed but no other driving concerns were observed. Occupants counseled for throwing cheese.
6:44 a.m. – Theft of sod reported from 4400 block Ninebark Loop. Officer responded, report taken. Value approximately $225. Victim declined to pursue charges.
9:32 a.m. – Raul Pena Ramirez, 55, arrested after he turned himself in at SHPD, 1950 Main, on SHMC warrant for FTC in placing offensive substance in water case. Cited to appear May 27.
11:04 a.m. – Clifford Lawrence Stoner, 53, arrested on LCCC warrant for FTC in theft case, 16th/Upper Sankey Park. Lodged at LCJ.
11:12 a.m. – Caller reported fraud, 1300 block Hawthorne. Officer responded, report taken for theft I.
12:39 p.m. – Jeffrey Duane Alan Richter arrested at SHPD, 1950 Main, on LMC warrant in criminal mischief case. Cited to appear June 9.
2:10 p.m. – William Lee Phillips, 43, arrested by Lebanon police on SHMC warrants for FTA in four theft cases. Cited to appear May 27.
5:00 p.m. – Crash reported in area of 10th/Elm. Officer responded, contacted male involved in motorcycle accident. Male declined transport by medics. He and parents were counseled about riding unregistered vehicle on roadway.
6:22 p.m. – Chase Lee Davis, 34, arrested by Albany police on SHMC warrant for failure to report as sexual offender. Cited to appear May 27.
8:31 p.m. – OSP reported vehicle westbound from Milepost 41 on Hwy. 20, unable to maintain lane and with passenger tire on rim and smoking. Vehicle later reported to have crashed and blocking traffic. Officer responded, aided OSP on scene. Further details not immediately available.
8:42 p.m. – SHPD conducted death investigation in 900 block Mountain View. Report taken.
9:24 p.m. – Crash reported in A&W parking lot, 1010 Main. Officer responded. Drivers were Jamee Rannae Millard, 44, in 2023 Chevrolet Corvette, and Nancy Lee Waters, 43, in 2007 Honda CRV. Damage estimated under $2,500, drivers exchanged information.
11:05 p.m. – Leslie Renee Maynard, 53, arrested on SHMC warrant for FTC in harassment case, 1300 block Main. Cited and released.
11:20 p.m. – Regina Marie Frier, 55, arrested by Albany police on SHMC warrant for FTA in placing offensive substance in water/highway/property case. Cited to appear May 27.

12:42 a.m. – Female said she was thrown out of car and ran over, near Boulder Falls Inn. Driver said she was giving the female a ride and the female was yelling at her and jumped out.
2:28 a.m. – Caller asked for welfare check on subject nodding off in parked car. Subject was tired from work and resting, offered peanut butter cup to officer (declined).
1:44 p.m. – Jodie Patricia Burch, 42, cited for DWS. George Joseph Nelson, 51, cited on LCJC warrant for PV – criminal trespass II.
1:59 p.m. – Homeless person talking to self and punching the air. William Lee Phillips, 43, cited on LCCC warrant for FTA – criminal mischief I, and SHMC warrants for FTAs – theft III x 4.
2:29 p.m. – Complaint about neighbor’s chicken coop, 20 feet from complainant’s bedroom window, smells bad. Officer found coop was clean but there was an odor. Owner said there was a rotting carcass there to allow chickens to eat maggots.
4:19 p.m. – Stephen Wayne Johnson, 68, taken into custody on LMC warrant for FTA – DWS x3, LCCC warrant for DUII, failure to perform duties of driver, and LJC warrant for theft of services.
7:47 p.m. – Van parked on E Street has sign on back stating “free candy.”
9:08 p.m. – Johnny Ray Mowdy, 62, cited on LCCC warrant for FTA – sex abuse III.

2:51 a.m. – Anna Rochelle House arrested on Benton County warrant for FTA in attempt to commit Class C felony case, LCCC warrants for FTA in disorderly conduct and offensive littering case, AMC warrant for FTA in theft case, LCSO warrant in theft case and LNC warrant for PV. Lodged at LCJ.
10:01 a.m. – Caller from Houck Evarts and Co., 1327 Long, reported damage to building. Officer contacted caller, was shown video of females that caller would like trespassed.
12:05 p.m. – Eric Abril Encincas, 47, arrested by LCSO on SHMC warrant for FTA in fraudulent use of credit card case. Cited to appear May 27.
5:12 p.m .- Brenna Rae Candler, 45, arrested on SHMC warrant for FTA in theft case, LMC warrant for FTA in theft case. Old Mill property/Green River. Cited and released.
7:42 p.m. – Michael James Runyan, 52, arrested by Josephine County Sheriff’s Offfice on SHMC warrant for FTA in DUIII case. Cited to appear May 27.
5:45 p.m. – Caller reported male camping in front of house in 1600 block Fir. Second caller reported male yelling at him and threatening him. Officer responded, male was advised to move vehicle by next day or risk being towed, and was trespassed from caller’s residence.
6:50 p.m. – Caller from Husky Field, 1012 22nd, reported juvenile assaulted by another juvenile. Officer responded, report taken for assault IV. Juvenile evaluated and cleared by medics.
6:56 p.m. – Citizen visited SHPD to report that an agitated driver had yelled at and swung a tire iron at him in area of 13th/Kalmia. Officer contacted citizen, report taken for disorderly conduct II.
11:46 p.m. – Caller reported vehicle nearly rear-ended caller’s vehicle, was speeding in eastbound 2000 block Main. Officer responded, contacted both drivers who both admitted to road rage behavior. Both were counseled and left area.

11:50 a.m. – Custom Kyle Coughran, 36, arrested on Oregon State Parole Board warrant in assault case, Salem Municipal Court warrant for FTA in failure to carry driver’s license case, LCCC warrants for felon in possession or weapon, theft and giving false info to police officer cases, LMC warrant for probation violation in theft case, and SHMC warrant for FTC in theft case. 900 block 12th. 1:06 p.m. – Juan Gutierrez Ojeda, 24, arrested at Wagon Wheel mobile home park, 1283 44th, for criminal misconduct III after report made half an hour earlier of tire being slashed in 1400 block 47th.
1:26 p.m. – Caller from 7-Eleven, 2405 Main, reported customer tried to use fake money. Officer responded, fake money seized. Caller declined to pursue charges.
1:50 p.m. – Caller reported female screaming for help in 1800 block Ulex. Officer responded, determined that female was simply trying to get to hospital for medical issues. Medics were not needed.

3:20 p.m. – Caller reported juvenile riding motorcycle in roadway in area of 46th, 47th/Live Oak. Officer contacted juvenile, who was advised that he could not ride motorcycle on roadway and walked motorcycle home, with business card to give to parents.
3:27 p.m. – Officer provided courtesy transport to SLCH for male who was experiencing “mental” situation.
5:28 p.m. – Caller reported subjects in yard of vacant property, digging it up and looking for rocks. Officer responded, contacted individuals, who moved along.
9:56 p.m. – Samantha Lynn Caldwell arrested for assault IV-domestic, following report from caller that female had assaulted him, 3200 block Main. According to SHPD, Caldwell allegedly struck a male in the face “multiple times.” Lodged at LCJ.

8:14 a.m. – Johnny Ray Mowdy, 62, cited on LCCC warrant for failure to report as a sex offender.
9:12 a.m. – Juvenile girl sitting in front of caller’s house called tp their cat over, then went on property and took the cat, 200 block S Williams St. The cat returned home a short time later. Caller asked about possibility of pressing charges for stealing the cat.
9:40 a.m. – Theft of multiple items reported at Harbor Freight. Employee watched male and female stuff purse and tool bag full of items, then leave with items tucked under clothing. Loss: $100-plus.
11:02 a.m. – Second grader ran away from school a couple times.
2:09 p.m. – Rose Lena Jones, 65, cited for trespassing at Walmart. Report taken.
3:34 p.m. – Jack Thompson cited on LMC warrant for FTA – trespass II.
6:40 p.m. – Simmie Sylvester Cabe Jr., 66, cited for DU.
8:10 p.m. – Caller unsure what to do about son, 18, who appeared intoxicated and being very belligerent.
9:33 p.m. – Eric David Utley, 54, cited on LCCC warrant for FTA – possession of meth.

1:48 p.m. – Deputy, Sweet Home Fire, responded to crash in 600 block 43rd. Property owner hit house with their truck due to medical issues. Driver was taken to hospital by family member.
1:58 p.m. – Jessica Deffenbaugh, 40, of Sweet Home, arrested for violation of restraining order, 438700 block Wiley Creek. Report taken.
3:08 p.m. – LCSO conducted death investigation in 28600 block Potter, Halsey. Death determined to be of natural causes. Report taken.
3:15 p.m. – LCSO, Brownsville Fire responded to vehicle fire in 35400 block Washburn Heights, Brownsville. Vehicle was complete loss. No injuries. Report taken.
