At their June 23 meeting Linn County Commissioners Roger Nyquist, Sherrie Sprenger and Will Tucker, recognized Michelle Hawkins for her 26 years as the county budget officer.
New Chief Financial Officer Jennifer Stanaway will take over as the county budget officer on July 1. Hawkins will continue as county treasurer until her retirement at the end of October.
