Carol Jean Farley, 68, of Sweet Home, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 22, 2026, after a courageous battle with breast cancer.
She was born July 10, 1958, to Esther Louise (Carle) and Charles Earl Anglin in Berwyn, Ill.
She moved to Oregon in 1989 and spent the last 21 years in Sweet Home. Carol was an avid, long-time member of the Sweet Home Elks, loved her Saturday morning poker games, and was a beloved face to patrons at Mr. Lucky’s for many years.
Her immense resilience and grace remain an inspiration to all.
Carol is survived by her spouse of 16 years, Milton Farley of Sweet Home; daughter Suzanne Clark of Sweet Home; son Alex Clark of Salem; grandchildren Macy and Carter Clark of Salem; and a sister, Shirley Sandstrom of Steelville, Mo.
A celebration of life will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 27, at the Sweet Home Elks Lodge. Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
