Sweet Home’s volleyball team went 1-1 last week, but the Huskies were only a couple points away from a sweep, losing 3-2 to Molalla on the road Thursday, Sept. 9, after blanking Newport 3-0 on Tuesday.
“Going 1–1 this week isn’t necessarily the result we wanted, but we liked the way we competed, said Co-Head Coach Janine Bondesen. “We’re learning how to stay consistent and finish sets when the pressure is on.”
